TV Commerce

A multi-project exploration into the potential of content led tv-commerce for Sky. The creative strategy focussed on leveraging the Sky camera, Sky’s content portfolio and its advertising platform to bring new retail moments to Sky customers.

My Role:

  • Worked with the engineering team to define technology opportunities and create ‘live-content’ prototypes

  • Defined the customer experience strategy in partnership with new business development team.

  • Created all UI/UX material

Virtual Try-on

Using the Sky Camera, 3d-mapping, depth sensors and augmented reality the user can ‘try before they buy’. A further use of the camera was the ability to ’shop together’ with friends.

Shop the look

Enabling viewers to shop the fashion they see in a series or movie, as worn by the actors. Various entry points were tested: via voice, a dedicated fashion hub, calls to action during the show or after during end credits.

Deliveroo

Deliveroo is the perfect partner for any movie night or the big game. We explored how we could best integrate into the tv viewing experience and how we might link from 3rd party apps.

Content led experiences

Contextual commerce moments were explored where products were linked to the content customers love and are currently engaged with.
